Description

RENOLIN UNISYN GEAR 220 and 320 VCI are fully synthetic industrial gear oils based on the latest generation of especially designed polyalphaolefin base oils. RENOLIN UNISYN GEAR 220 and 320 VCI have excellent wear protection properties, high load carrying capacities and special corrosion protection properties. The gear oils protect the fluid- wetted gear parts and all internal components of the gear with vapor corrosion protection additives. That means that the whole interior surface of the gear is protected against corrosion due to the special properties of these gear oils. RENOLIN UNISYN GEAR 220 and 320 VCI contain so-called vapor corrosion inhibitors (VCI). Under standard conditions these additives have a high volatility, they evaporate on the room temperature from the fluid phase of the gear (where these additives are completely dissolved) to the vapor phase till it is saturated with the VCI inhibitors. These special VCI additives build a stable surface layer which guarantees the protection of the gear and all internal parts and surfaces against corrosion. Steel and yellow metal materials and copper containing materials are protected against corrosion over a wide temperature range and over a long period.

 

RENOLIN UNISYN GEAR 220 and 320 VCI provide

excellent ageing and temperature stability. Due to the high natural shear stable viscosity index the fluids can be used over a wide temperature range (-35 °C – 120 °C - depending on the viscosity class in the application terms and the recommendation of the gear manufacturer).

The combination of PAO's of the latest generation together with synergistic acting additives guarantees excellent low temperature flowability, high wear protection, excellent corrosion protection, low foaming, and a very good material compatibility. The products show excellent compatibility with different types of elastomers (NBR, FKM). Elastomers based on FKM materials can be used up to a temperature of 100 °C without any problems.

 

Application

RENOLIN UNISYN GEAR 220 and 320 VCI can be used as fully synthetic industrial gear oils for all kinds of gears, bearings, and components. Gears and components filled with RENOLIN UNISYN GEAR 220 und 320 VCI can be stored over a very long time. The gear can be run with both products without any restrictions. RENOLIN UNISYN GEAR 220 and 320 VCI are suitable for all applications where industrial gear oils, type CLP, CKC according to DIN 51517-3 (ISO 6743-6) are recommended by the manufacturer. They can be used for highly loaded spur gears, bevel gears, worm gears with oil sump lubrication or with oil injection systems. The products can also be used in highly loaded bearing, joints, and spindles.

RENOLIN UNISYN GEAR 220 and 320 VCI are especially recommended for bearings, gears and components which can be readily used after a long storage time.
